6c elk

I was hoping to get some feedback from the bowhunters in this unit. My friend has a late season rifle tag. Any and all info greatly appreciated.

Archery hunts don't start until September 1st. 6c can be a very tough hunt with low elk numbers, but can be a good hunt if you do your homework. We hunted there before the big las conchas fire and went 1 for 2. It took us a couple days to find some elk
