I took this 3x3 with a broken mainbeam on day three in SE Arizona. The buck came in with a hot doe to about 40 yards, but I did not have a good lane with two oak trees covering part of his vitals. They left for about ten minutes and then the doe headed right towards the ground blind. When the buck in pursuit was at 35 yards I went to full draw. He trotted by and at 22 yards I released the Easton Axis and G5 Striker on a perfect double lung pass through. The buck still managed to go over 300 yards uphill before crashing.

He is my first coues and first buck with a bow.

Congratulations on a really nice Coues.

Pretty amazing to shoot anything with a bow. And doubly amazing to shoot a nice Coues deer with a bow.
Looks like it was pretty cold out there.

I dont know if you already have or not, however, if not you should post this over on CouesWhitetail.com, the folks over there will love it.

I've hunted the little whitetail a half dozen times with good success (with a rifle) so I have an idea just how tough it can be to bag one.
BUT,YOU HAVE TO BE HAPPY TO DO IT WITH A BOW! GREAT BUCK ESPECIALLY WITH A STICK!
Congratulations on a great Coues buck!
