Calif. desert sheep

My buddy drew a zone-5 San Gorgonio tag. Looks like very tough country to me. Anyone have some inside dope on this area? Thanks

We have been there a couple of times hunting deer and have seen a few sheep. Do you have a lot of time to scout/hunt? It is BBIIGG country with not a lot of sheep. Ever since in burned a couple of years ago, they have been a little bit harder to find. Call in the scout plane!

Agreed. Unless you have alot of time and sheep experience, don't chance a great opportunity to make this one count. I see Terry Anderson has killed some great rams out of this unit,including the State Record ram. Tackle the treadmill, weights, stairclimber, whatever it takes to get ready and make it count. Be sure and post photos when you make it happen.
