cva apex

i am thinking of getting rid of my optima and going to an apex. is anyone using one in either a rifle or muzzle loader. you here a lot of cva's other one's but none on the apex.

If you can use a scope and dont mind a 8lb rifle, the Apex is extremely accurate. The stock is not designed for open sights in mind, strictly a scope. So thats the main issue you will have to think of.

The Optima is great as well, especially the new model with QRBP.

did you have to buy the new breach plug for your optima when you shoot the blkhorn 209

All my guns shoot BH209 but yes, i replaced the factory plug with the BH209 plug.
