My apologies for taking so long to repost. Thank you for all of the help off of this awesome site, we would have been lost without you M&M'ers willingness to help out!
As Yoteyelper said, there was zero snow which made it a poor hunt. But, for a guy like me who has had limited chances to experience decent hunts, we had a great time. Typically we would see 40 to 50 does and between 5 and 10 bucks per day. We found my buck on the sixth day that we were there and he was too good for me to pass up, since he was the best buck that we had seen.
I was looking straight into the sun and missed at 125 yards, but luckily he wouldn't leave his doe and he gave me another chance at 210 and I made it count!
He's 24 inches wide and scores 177 gross (my biggest buck ever!)
Thanks again for all of the tips and the help that was offered so willingly. This site is a tremendous asset to the hunting community!
