I'm a dickweed. I could pay H&R Block $50 and be done with it in 10 minutes. Oh heck no.....not me. I'll file my own taxes, screw H&R Block!
I've been trying for over a month with free e-file, but I can't get it done!}>
First I was missing a 1099 form. Finally got that. The last couple weeks I hit "e-file now" and after a day or so I get a "rejected" notice. They don't really tell you why. "error, please correct and submit again". They send you a long list of possible solutions, but you have to go over the entire form and guess.
After you "submit" again you have to wait until they reject it again before you can work on it and try again.
If I ever get the Federal done I still have the State to deal with. I'm just hoping I can make the April 17th deadline.
By gawd, I'm going to save $50 though!}>
Anybody else do their own taxes on line?
