I am doing a pack in hunt this Sept., could be up to 10 miles, and everything will be on my back. I have got this far with my choices, but have some specific questions, I was hoping you all, would help with.
Doing the research I believe I have it narrowed down to the Eberlestock Blue Widow, or the Kifaru Guide or Rendezevous. What I can see for advantages to each.
Kifaru-Lighter, more room, custom made, ability to have just a meat hauler and not get the pack and other gear bloody.
Eberlestock-More compression straps, more pack acessories available, more reasonably priced, ability to have the bow, bag, and pad all strapped to the exterior.
Does anyone know if you can strap a bow to the back of the Kifaru pack? What about bow, bag, and sleeping pad?
I believe it would be worth the extra weight, for the extra room of the rendezvous over the guide? Any negatives to a bigger pack. Thanks for your insight. WTA
