I really like oryx meat. Have killed a couple dozen gemsbok in Africa and they are fantastic on the braai (grill). This Scimitar I took at Mason Mt (Texas) and had it processed in Brady, while I went to Matagorda and loaded up on fish filets!! The game butcher swore it was the best, after axis deer, and took great care of it. Funny you mention it, 'cause I just found a lost tube of burger in the freezer yesterday!
