The deer is pretty nice also
My wife shot this buck on Oct 6, the second day of the hunt. We hunted some bucks we had scouted earlier in the summer. They were hanging out in an area that required the deer to be packed out but there were no 4 wheelers and we saw only 2 other hunters on the ridge in 2 days. We saw a bigger buck on the opener but he out smarted us. She had limited time to hunt so when we caught this buck in an area we could close in on him she decided to take him. A great 220 yard shot in a really nice area.
