Drew 12aw late question I have is does Az. Game and Fish still only recommend non-lead bullets on the Kaibab or do they require them ? Thanks in advance for any correct info. On the subject . PS. Congrats to all others that also drew !

check the reg's and do a word search for condor to see for yourself but it is optional but really, really encouraged for hunters to be lead free. If you decide to use lead, it is really, really encouraged that you bury all of the remains from your harvest so the condors are not attracted to the remains.
Congrats on the tag that is a very good hunt!!!!

Congratulations! I drew the same hunt this year. This is my first ever late tag but I have been drawn for the early hunt before. In the past they mailed a voucher for a free box of the copper ammo. Federal High dollar stuff to. I know they prefer non-lead ammo and I assume they will continue same program but have not heard anything definate. I will not be shooting lead.

Good Luck & Good Hunting

Hey thanks for the info guys, yeah after 15 yrs and 16 points I'm pretty stoked about finally drawing permit # 010 . Congrats zido and may the Monster Muley Gods look favorably upon you on your hunt ! Looks like Winchester E-Tips this season.

IN 2008 THEY SENT ME 2 BOXES OF ALL COPPER NON TOXIC FEDERAL VITAL SHOCK. GREAT AMMO.........IT EXACTLY WHAT I SHOOT HERE IN CALIFORNIA............GOOD LUCK FELLAS................YD.

We are still waiting on our free ammo from the 2013 hunts!!! Luckily I still had some from previous years...if u pack out the guts you can be entered for some pretty cool prizes!!!

I POPPED A 28 INCH, HEAVY 4X4. I REALLY DID NOT SEE THE TOAD THAT THE REGION WAS/IS FAMOUS FOR. IT WAS A FUN HUNT THOUGH, NEXT TIME WILL BE WITH A BOW.......................YD.

My Ol lady killed a nice 3 point and my dad and I held out until the end for big guy and went home with tag soup! We could have killed decent 4 points until the end but wanted toads and just didn't happen...(this was on last years early rifle hunt)
Was and awesome hunt though and stoked to go back w my bow this year and get my rebate!!!
I took my 1st lion up there this spring while horn hunting!!!
