MT grouse and misc. critter pics

Fellas were out in force this morning.

They are strutting heavy, so I was able to get in fairly close without flushing them.

It was a good morning in northern Montana.

I LOVE those pics of the Sage grouse. I've got to have one of those mounted in that exact pose. One of these days I am going to head up there and take a couple. Those are great pics. And all the others are good too. The sharp tail is nice.

Love the pheasant. Miss not being able to hunt them. You pay good money to hunt them in AZ. Grew up in Idaho.
