I am having a blast posting pictures here on MM. This first picture is of a buck I killed when I was 14. After missing chances in the high country we moved lower and found this nice buck. I owe everything about this deer to my brother. He is the one that dragged me up the mountain, spotted the buck, and then caped it out so I could have this wonderful mount. He spotted the buck across a canyon some 325 yds away and told me to get ready. Being a very small 14 year old at the time as you can see by the pictures I missed the first 4 shots and finaly with my last bullett connected. My brother went across the canyon 30 minutes later to checked if it was dead while I looked on across the canyon. He neared the last placed we last saw the buck when it jumped up and was running through a large meadow. I fired another 4 shots at it killing it on the 10th shot. I know how pathetic that is so no point in telling me that but thats how it went. He is a nice 4x4, 26 wide and nets around 170.
This is a buck that I kiled with my bow also when I was 14. This buck was in Utah while the 4x4 was out of state. My brother was at my side and could of shot long before I did but he let me take the shot and I thank him for that. He has been at my side on all my kills.
These pictures were taken when I was 14. I am now a month away from turning 19. I have grown some 10 inches the past 5 years. So you wouldn't recognise me if you saw me.
Thanks for reading
