Nevada ewe hunts

Anyone have information regarding this new hunt? What specie, Cali or desert? Will there be any non-resident permits?

I've called a couple of NDOW offices, and the people I talked to weren't quite sure of the specifics.

Not sure what was approved but the proposal was for desert ewe hunts in 212, 213, 268 and California unit 06? (Near Battle Mountain but don't recall which unit). No non resident tags. I think they were all October time frame.

Thanks NVBighorn, for the info! Wish there was a non-ressy permit, as a desert ewe hunt would be lots of fun. Guess I'll just have to move back to NV!
