newbie with a dumb one

I have a pic of a lion I killed last friday, the pics were taken on my friends camera, he sent them to me, however they are too big to upload, and i can not figure out how to resize them to be able to post them. I do not have photoshop or anything, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!!!!!!

I bet there's a program already on your computer than can resize pics. Try right clicking on a pic and choose "open with" that should give you a list of the programs your puter has.
