NM SHED HUNTING

ANYONE SEEING ELK AND DEER DROPPING ALREADY IN NM.SO FAR EVERYTHING I HAVE SEEN IS PACKING BOTH SIDES HOPEFULLY SOON THEY WILL FALL OFF BUT TILL THEN WELL JUST WATCH FROM A DISTANCE.

not as many elk as we normally see and NO sheds... hopefully we were just a little too early.. be back at it in a couple of weeks

No browns yet--just some chalky stuff...

Same here. Nada fresh. Put some serious miles in the Gila and no brown to show for it. Pulled about 50lbs of last year's whites but EVERY stinking bull I have glassed has been packing antler... granted, I have not seen a big bull this spring, but I have glassed every bull and cow I can find looking for bloody stumps or missing antler.
