A friend and I were hoping to do this hunt last year and it fell through, well this year its looking like its a go. I live in Salt Lake and was wondering if any units would be better to hunt then others? (we prefer to stay in the central part of the state) Harvesting a deer isn't going to make or break the trip just having opportunities to locate and pursue deer would be great. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you want to stay in the Phoenix area most desert areas all hold deer. keep in mind that unit 42 west of Phoenix is not open for Archery until January.
