He should be president so all those that forget really see just why we can't afford to keep walking down the liberal path and hopefully learn why it is he needs to salute the flag! We have issues here really big issues and promising more welfare, higher taxes, free immigration, and many programs without funding ain't going to solve a damn thing! We need to mandate all terms in congress to eliminate the pork so abundant in every bill they pass. Put a mandatory balanced budget bill in place and actually decrease our budget in foreign aid by 50% until we get social security fixed and eliminate our dependence on foreign oil and bring our manufacturing back onshore to actually create jobs. Let China, Russia, India & South America pick up the tab for a few decades we've carried the ball long enough. FIX the hole in the damn fence. We have more than enough people living here so let them improve the nations where they already live to make the world a better place it's not issue to fix everything on earth and we can no longer afford to do so. Oh yes and by the way we have one language here english you either learn it or leave. If you here on a work visa and commit a felony you and your family are gone no second chances period. We used to respect the law here now they laugh at it and don't even enforce it.

Well so far I was righht in my thinking that not one person could come up with a valid good reason why he sahould be voted in as the president, the leader of a nation that does more for others than any nation in the world. Not one good reason. I expected more out of you however dude i really did. other than he will get all the votes or the majority.

I think he should be President because he wants to take capital gains tax from 15% to 28% to help fund his free medical program. I own a small business that I have busted my butt to build and equity in my home. I really want to give the government 13% of my hard earned retirement. Please take my money to give to a bunch of welfare hogs and punk assed college kids who don't have a pot to piss in. Please!

Bush has the highest disapproval rating in history, yes higher than Carter's. Bush has us deep in debt, a half trillion dollar budget defecit, a screwed up economy with socialist bail outs to avoid a depression and in a war that's going to cost more in today's dollars than Vietnam did for little or no gain.
So actually electing McBush would be the same mistake all over, today. we need a little time to forget our mistakes, Carter's poor performance was before some voters were even born.

I really do not think is Bush made over. He has fought over issues with main stream reps for years and does what he feels is in the best interest of the people of "THIS" country, No he's not mr feel good, or a young vibrant slick speaker who has ties with muslim extremists who kill people but hey why should that matter.
His experience in our countries politics and what we are supposed to be is light years ahead of Obama. His age doesnt make any difference to me, But dude maybe you can afford those tax raises and fuel prices to fill up your VW bus that you take on your hunting trips. not me. And Like i said before I dont vote along party lines strictly. I would have thought that Joe Lieberman would possibly have been a decent choice for VP running with McCain.

I remember as a younge kid in the second grade when the hostages were released just after Reagan was in office.
I also remember coming home from school in the second grade seeing my father either sleeping on the couch or still in bed.
I had a strange feeling because before I only saw my father after 7:00 pm during the week or after noon on Sat. I remember my mom saying " I'm gonna try and get some foodstamps to help us out" We were denied because my dad owned a construction CO. Just before that he had 25 employee's with numerouse pieces of heavy equipment and doing really well. Since the time he was 14 yrs old he was self employed to some degree. In a matter of six yrs(during Carter and shortly after) he was on the verge of collapse. He pulled through and by 1990 his payroll was close to $50,000 or more a week. When Clinton was elected he hung up his hat because he was paranoid about what he had gone thru with Carter and a small recession followed.
I have a strong feeling Obama will be elected because the younger generation isn't even aware of the dark days of the eighties. Some think Bush is bad but with Obama the worst to yet come. I have friend who's an expatriate from France,he moved here because by the time he moved, the French Gov taxed 80% of his earned income. He told me "When I was young and made $3000.00 a year I was a commie, When I got older and made $30,000 a year I was a socialist, When I got even older and made $100,000 I became a REPUBLICAN and moved to the US because that $100,000 I made in France I netted $20,000." Today he say's the US attitude is heading in the same direction as France is now.

You have a great point. Since I aired my tires and got a tune up I haven't used much fuel at all. As a matter of fact I haven't used a drop since saturday morning, talk about great milage. Of course having my pelvic bone broke in 3 spots helped save some fuel too. I'm getting around so fast in my wheel chair I might sell my truck.
