Henrys and ATV

Hope to pull out a Henry Mt tag this year and was wondering if an atv would be of any use there or arent there any legal trails ect.Never been down there but hope to scout if I pull a tag.Thanks for any help.

An atv is essential on the Henrys. It is a rugged remote mountain. The easier you make it to cover a lot of ground the more success you will find.

Which hunt are you planning on applying for?

I am hoping to hunt there this season too.

I have been wrestling with witch hunt to try for but I have a soft spot for the smoke pole and love the challege so it would be more rewarding for me to do it with a frontstuffer.There may be more cover for the deer but that time of year is awesome in the high country.I have heard theres not many atv only trails because of the ruggedness of that terrain, guess I need to get in scouting mode.

Seems like I been puttin in for most of my life! Finaly got to 13 res. but still a little nerous I wont draw.Ya see I got this huntin diasease when Ias just a kid and Im hopin to find a cure!

there arnt many atv only trails, there are a few, but just getting from point a to point b is 80% faster on an atv. the roads often wash out, making them almost impossible in spots to cross in a p/u.
