Back door deer

I just checked the back door habitat stamp method and my deer is showing the 590 code. I think I'm heading to unit 501 4th season. Pretty stoked. Never been down there but plan on heading there this weekend to check it out. I know there's lots of burn areas. That's where I plan to start my adventure. I live in ft collins so scouting shouldn't be too much of an issue. Good luck to all this fall

I doubt you will be in 501 during 4th season, cause there isn't one according to regs. Did you mean 3rd season or 51 4th season?

Nope, I meant 4th season. Unless my regs are different than yours, they say 4th season

Yes, 501 has a 4th season. I wish my unit had that season available. You'll be right in the rut.

How exactly are you checking the back door on the CO website? Can someone post instructions?

Go to buy licenses.... and click on Buy a Habitat Stamp. AT that point it will show licenses on file. If you have a 500 code for deer, you drew.

Make sure you have scrolled all the way down.

2015 - 488 NON RES ANTLERLESS ELK APP
2015 - 059 HABITAT STAMP WITH A LICENSE
2015 - 491 NON RES DEER APP

Can any of you Colorado guys decipher this? I am wondering if you can understand if you drew a tag or not by applying the 059 code associated with the Habitat stamp and license with my 0491 Non-Res deer app??? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Good luck on your own draws as well.

I logged out and relogged in and it popped right up the second time. No tag for me this year. Thanks.

Looks like you didn't get your deer tag.

No deer, but the Elk draw hasnt posted up yet, so you could still get your elk tag.

I don't see a 4th season for 501 either. I wonder where the discrepancy is.

Apparently reading comprehension isn't a strong suit for some MMers

The wife drew a high-country archery deer tag but will probably turn it back in since she drew an Idaho Moose tag and I have a San Juan bear tag. Congrats to those that drew.

I take offense at the comment about my reading comprehension, but I found how I missed it. For the 2nd and 3rd seasons, 501 is listed with 50 and 500 under 50 numerically. 501 4th season is listed separately under 500 numerically. Oops, my bad.

Ok so help me out here....

Mine says

465 non resident Pronghorn
491 non resident deer app
059 non resident habitat stamp with license

481 non resident elk app
591 non resident deer

Do I read that as drew a deer tag????

Sorry, I didn't see that unit 501 was separated from 50 and 500 for 4th season. I just seen them listed together under "50" for 2nd and 3rd season. Good luck

I don't think elk has been posted yet. Someone will let us know when they have a 500 code for elk. You can bet on that!

Help me decode this.....

Below is a list of products you already have on file.
2015 - 491 NON RES DEER APP
2015 - 059 HABITAT STAMP WITH A LICENSE

Licenses are currently available for both 2014 and 2015. You can only purchase one license year per transaction.

Did I draw a tag?

No

I'm assuming that the back door codes have all been posted.

Disappointing, I did not draw my 1st or 2nd choice for elk (11 points - resident). Based on last years drawing stats, 50 out of 72 resident hunters drew 1st season rifle in Unit 61 with 11 points and I had over 50% chance of drawing my second choice also.

Best of luck to all you lucky folks that drew you tags.

I don't think i've ever drew a tag that had a 50% success rate, I need at least a 90% chance to draw. Looks like we both have the same lousy luck.
