I have never spent anytime in this area looking or scouting for elk in this area. I was just wanting to drop out any feelers to guy's who might have knowledge of this area. Just curious if it is worth the time to invest and what kind of population live in the general area. I understand it is a difficult hunt just looking for any knowledge that others are willing share. Thanks guys
 
Suggest you play the lottery! You have a better chance to win there than you will killing a elk down there, though I guess it does happen occasionally. LOL

Great bass, crappie and catfish lake though! If you go, take a fishing pole or two!
