Somehow I drew this tag for sheep! Can not believe it! Please any advice from the hunters that have been in that unit I would very much be interested in what their experiences and thoughts are.

No real first hand experience there but it can be a good hunt. When are you thinking of hunting? Early or late in the season.
 
As I write this response I believe I'm going to try for the last two weeks of the season. Will be there before with scouting. The unit is about 8 hours from the house. Really I can't believe I have this tag. Truly once in my lifetime. Might find time to hunt birds with my dog as the season opens Oct 13th. Thanks!
 
Wow if I yoinked that tag, I'd be "high" on that "hunt", highhunt! :)

Sheep tags are so rare that most MMers will never have one in their pocket. I'd say take full advantage of it and please keep us vicariously posted on your adventure.

It looks lime you have some good reply's. I've deer hunted the unit several times. It's tough, rough country like the sheep like. I've seen a few UP there, but not a lot.
check in with the other guys that have responded, and pm me if you need some additional advice.
p.s. listen to the guys that offered advice, they spend more time up there than I have.
