COSTCO has their carbon fiber trekking poles in stock. Only $29. They have been talked about a lot an various trekking pole threads here over the years. They are Strong and Light. Well built. When it comes to Carbon Fiber I think they are by far the best bang for you buck. They usually only carry them seasonally and typically are gone by mid summer. If you are considering getting these, now is the time to do it. We always seem to talk about them when they are out of stock. It's time to jump.

I grabbed mine. Thanks to the guys who gave a heads up during the winter. I've been watching

At least there will be several to choose from for the 1st few miles. After that, the rocks dont carry many sticks.

"These an in store only purchase?"

From Costco for $29 yes. You can buy them from other online retailers for about $44

I have put some hefty sideways torque against logs on these while hauling elk out of deadfall. Kept me from falling may times. That would be my 6'6" 280lbs frame hauling 100+ pounds. :)

They are pretty dang good poles.

I hardly go on any hunt anymore without trekking poles.
They make life so much easier.

Go get em!!

Finally an average sized dude responding. I'm an inch shorter with 14 feet. Good to know there are 2 of us that are normal sized

I have always thought of Trekking poles as another word for a cane. But they do look a little better. ?? I had a sore knee a few years ago. I have no choice when I have to walk the water line. I have to walk the water line. Going up hill wasn?t always to bad. But the pounding the knees take coming down always hurt. But with walking sticks it would help keep the pressure off of the knees. So I have a set of Leki sticks I really like. I have learned that riding a bike helps my knees . So I don't have pain like I use to. But I went to Costco and picked up a couple sets just to have around. Seems like a pretty good price. But they don't look as nice as my Leki?s.

I once had a buck that would not let me shoot him because my trekking poles did not look nice enough. So we sat down amongst the bitter brush where I explained to him the price difference between mine and other good looking pairs. The buck had a change a heart and told me I could shoot him, but I would have to wait until the next year when he would be bigger and when I could prove that my poles were still working.

The next year I shot that buck. :) :D :D

I got a set from costco last week. They seem very nice for $29. Definitely better than the aluminum ones I've been using in the past.

DW at my age if those high speed ones could vault me to the top of the mountain, I'd have to at least consider buying a pair. Haha

Okay? Now I'm curious. Are you anti-Costco? If you are, then you haven't tried their pumpkin pies ;-)

Lmao! Just had this discussion about taco bell last night, sorta the same deal only I was the food defender! Turns out the big wheel of taco bell is pretty tight with George Sorros, I had no idea. Ya I haven't set foot in Costco because of the large amounts of money they and their employees donate to the DNC and Democrat candidates. That's where my comment came from.

I had no idea about that one. Yeah that turns my stomach almost as bad as eating at Taco Bell. Soros is a P.O.S., and so is the democratic socialist party. I haven't worn Nike shoes in over 25 years since they started donating money to anti-gun groups.

Places to shop are getting really limited these days. But I already have the sticks, maybe I'll just use them as shooting sticks at Hillary targets ;-)
