Arizona unit 10 antelope

Not real sure why everyone is so tight lipped about a hunt that is most likely a once in a lifetime hunt. But here goes. I drew this coveted hunt with max points. I've already scouted 4 days and driven over 350 miles of dirt roads and am headed up again next week. I'm not opposed to doing my home work but just seeking any knowledge of the unit anyone is willing to share. I've emailed the unit biologist... talked with the unit 9 game and fish office we ran into on the drive in.... searched the archives for info on here and now requesting your knowledge. I'm retired and can't afford a guide. If I could I'm not sure I would want to just be the guy that pulls the trigger. I'd like to hunt but would just like some help pointing me in the right direction.
Thanks guys... and totally understand you not wanting to give up any secret honey holes. I have hunted the unit for antelope before.... in the 70's ?

I've never hunted antelope in 10, but just from what I've picked up over the years, it seems first place to look would be the Coconino Pleatau on east side, a lot of big bucks have been killed there over the years, from the reports anyway. Check the map for exact location ! Another good place would be far NW corner around Bishop Tank Area. 10 is a monster tough hunt just from sheer size alone ! That's what I'm told from guides that hunt it. I lived in Flagstaff for 14 years & went there often just to shoot prairie dogs near Seligman. OMG was that fun shooting ! Wish I could help more.
If that were my tag, a once in a Lifetime Hunt, I'd find the $ to be guided by Eli Grimmet of Pronghorn Guide Service who's an ace in that area ! Some years ago he got a man from Ca a 94 B/C buck out of 10. No bull there. Still takes some big time luck to pull that off guide or no guide.
Best of Luck ! ?

I have been in the unit in the past and will share with you what I know. Pm me as well!

I find it odd as well that on a site where people go to share a common interest that people are reluctant to help each other. We all started somewhere....

Here are some Unit 10 antelope! Some nice ones, others just typical 3-4 year old bucks!

I just spent two days looking all over that unit and was surprised how hard it was to find goats. Definitely not your typical got hunt. We will be there with my boy, driving a silver F-150 crew cab and a red Tacoma with a CHAMP Permit magnet on the side. If you run into us feel free to stop us.

Wonder if you were looking up north? Wide open country, antelope can be hard to find. BIG antelope are even harder to find!

See you out there!
