A 190"+ typical is less than 1% of deer on most of the continent. I don't count the AZ Strip or some of these premium ranches, because they just don't count in my book. They might as well be high fence deer. Sorry if that hurt some feelings, but that's how I see it. It's not challenging when...

I shot what I thought was a 190+" beast this year. I get up to him and it's a 4.5 year old genetic specimen that would have been a 200+? typical in a couple years if he survived. The body was small, but we couldn't tell that a first light at 250 yards with no other bucks around to compare too...

Don't give one shitz how personable or nice an outfitter is. They shouldn't be guiding on public land for profit. Countless problems solved!!!

Outfitters should be limited to Private Land Only. Would solve almost all the problem, among others, and I don't think our public lands should help line their pockets. Period. Every hunt I've ever been on with the presence of an outfitter in the area has sucked for numerous reasons.

The new process is not great for re-issued tags, but I can't think of a better process that doesn't create more work. I liked when the tags were not issued at all if turned back in. Simple, and consistent.

He's a shooter. Not the best genetics, but a stunning deer nonetheless. 180's because of the weak back forks and short mains. Wide frame but the inside spread is not that wide, which is where it counts. Those back forks would need to fork a lot sooner to be 190's.

Wow, can't believe I agree with most of the posts here. Last go around everyone was saying 210" on a 180's". This buck does not make it out of the 160's at most, maybe only high 150's.
