My dad is getting near the end of his hunting career and had a few pronghorn points and drew this rifle tag. He has killed a young pronghorn buck years and years ago and is looking for at least a bigger buck this year. Anyone familiar with this unit that can point us to a few spots to start...

If you already have a tag, say for deer, can you buy a deer tag from the leftover list and then turn in the tag you already have?

I hunted Pronghorn there a couple years back. Unit 4 I believe. I was just after any buck as I had my kids in tow. It was a fun hunt, tagged out first day.

That's awesome. Heck of a bull too.

If you want point creep to slow down, seems like you would want all tags to go to max points. Why split it? Or only if you have at least half the max points. We all see people with 0 to very few points drawing OIL and premium tags. That is really hurting the point creep. I assume eventually...

I rode a 4 wheeler around for 4 days on some mean dirt roads during my 3rd and 4th season hunts this fall. Then my hunting partner showed up with his enclosed sxs with heater and the ride was incredibly better and the heater was a blessing on a mid November hunt. I agree that I don't like how...

I might be hunting on top, and therefore camping there obviously wouldn't be an issue, but I might start down low near Glenwood Springs and therefore would like to camp near Glenwood Springs. I have a 4th season tag and want to camp near Glenwood Springs with 2 or 3 horses. I plan on sleeping in the horse trailer. Anyone know a good spot to camp with horses that is pretty close to Glenwood Springs or that is willing to let me camp on their property? I haven't hunted this area before...
