Seems like a cool well thought out statement rather than the knee-jerk one they sent to nonresidents via emails yesterday celebrating how they took money from us after misleading the tag numbers before the deadline.

Bottom line, call your credit card company and file a dispute. There is no possible way the CC company would deny your claim and NM can pound sand for misrepresenting a high dollar transaction.

I advise anyone who is capable of dumping the whole application to call your credit card company and file a dispute to get your money refunded. Tell them you paid for something that was advertised much differently.

I appears that after the application deadline NM feels it is OK to now change the rules for the Sheep and exotics nonresident quota. Meaning that the best case is for 1 NR sheep tag. Plus Oryx and Ibex to be cut as well. I could care less about the new rules but only an idiot cannot understand...

Just be aware the draw odds posted in the big 3 booklet are inflated more than 5 fold for nonresident. With all species most units the res to nonres app numbers are almost dead even, but yet the nonres are limited to 10%. Do the math and make sure these new fees are worth your time.

Mail order is an option but the downside is shipping.

The cost increase scared them off. It happened all in one year, the year they raised prices. Kind of like when Colorado tried raising cow tag prices
