Well that is what we will do. Next year we have a Wyoming hunt,his 1st western hunt. Hopefully 2022 we will go to Colorado with whatever we can get a decent price on.

I will be hunting 1st week Oct 9000-10000 feet for Elk in Wyoming. What setup should I use if I buy Sitka clothing for 50/50 sitting and horseback ? Will the Sitka holdup for being in the saddle up to 4hrs a day ?

I took mine 6" nickel python to a shop for poops and giggles. He made a call and told me he did not want it since he would have to give me too much for it.

What is everyones opinions of Nikon Monarch 7's ? They seem to be pretty good to my eyes and I get 45% off MSRP.

We only have one now and will have 2 going into 2019.

We will have 2 points this year. I have talked to Tangle Ridge outfitters in graybull and a couple at the show so far.

Thanks for the info. We have also put in for Wyoming points this year.Hoping to set something up come spring of '18 and hunt in 2019. Trying to keep the guided hunt part to under $5500 plus the extras,ie tips etc. Talked to tangle ridge in Wyoming and steamboat lake outfitters in Co.

did not realize better areas are taking in the 20 point range now.20 points will be out of the question for me since I do not think at 69 I will handle elevation to good.

I am looking for a possible 2019 hunt for 3 of us. We will have 13 preference points for that year. Any suggestions on where to go ? Prefer an outfitter since we would not want to go in blindly after driving 2k miles. Have hunted previously with Winterhawk outfitters and seen they are no more.
