How did you do on your hunt?

I am curious how the third season was in 68/681 this year. I spoke to the biologist and he said it was very warm, but there were still a few nice bucks taken this year. I am debating wether to draw a unit 63 or a unit 68 tag next year. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Buck 1 is 168 Buck 2 is 177 Total is 345 I would shoot the buck on the left. I like the dark antlers and the eyeguards.

I think they need to be more cost affective like Utah. Spend the $60 to buy license and apply for the tags, Rather then spend the $150 for a license to apply for the tags. Thats kinda steep. Or even forward the money like Montana ($364) then return the money if your not drawn for your choice...

I have about 30 elk sheds and 25 deer sheds, all in great shape, dark color, no chew marks. Most of the bulls are 280-300 class bulls. A couple of 330-350 sheds. The deer sheds are all 130-150 sheds. If I had to guess I would say the total weight of the sheds is about 150 lbs. I am wanting to...

What state are you in?

I hunt the Snake river breaks in Washington. I want to apply for a tag that covers the snake river breaks in Idaho, unit 40,41,42. Which would be the best unit to apply for. I dont need any secret spots I just want to know a decent unit. 22-25 inch buck would be fine.

I went out yesterday and saw Four Bulls still packing. But I found a nice six point set a week and a half ago. Around here the deer start dropping in mid January and the elk start around mid March.

I agree with WAmuleytaker on this one. If the indians around here are gonna shoot as many animals as they want each year and say they can because of the treaty then they need to use the weapons that were out when they signed the treaty. Also I think it is B.S that all of us average folk spend...

I am supposed to go on a hunting trip with some buddies to North Dakota this fall. One of them has an invite to a friends 8,000 acre ranch on the Missouri River breaks. I was just wondering what to expect as far as the quality of animals that I should look for.
