I've hunted this tag myself and with quite a few other lucky hunters, it's a blast! Your in for a good time. I know it's hard not to race up there for opening day, but I wouldn't waste a trip until at least the 1st of May. I've seen a couple bears in April but thed earliest we have shot one is...

When does Utah mail out the tags that were drawn? I lucked out and pulled an elk tag. Just wondering how it works as Ive never drawn Utah before.

Thanks for the thoughts. I realize that those bulls are hard to find. Hell, ive hunted my whole life and never seen a bull like those during any hunting season. My hopes for this hunt are simple..... Have a good hunt in a good unit where its POSSIBLE to kill a bull like those. I could have held...
