It has been fairly slow for me. Seen some bulls and passed on few little ones. Found a real good bull on sunday, but i am working until the 6th, then off till end of hunt. Hopefully he will still be around. They were starting to talk on sunday and supposed to cool down this weekend so hoping for...

Saw some deer, and huge bear sunday night. Headed uo tomorrow so well see how it goes.

I picked up my Halon 5 in stone last week. 28" draw 70 lbs shooting 432 grain arrow 291 fps. Should be great combo for a big bull this year.

I currently have a vanguard ph11 which is pretty light. If your wanting to spend more, the outdoorsmans has a new lightweight head that I have heard good things about and am thinking of possibly upgrading to. Another option is some ball heads but I am not a fan myself.

I have had ACL surgery in both knees now. Left knee about 8 years ago and right knee this march. My knee is still not back to full strength yet but I was able to hunt this year, although there was lots of pain after hiking and packing elk downhill. Best of luck and make sure to take rehab...

I have used Merrells for bowhunting quite a bit. I tried running shoes once and it sucked slipping and sliding on wet grass. I picked up some Salomon speedcross and I am wearing them around breaking them in. They are pretty comfy and seem to have good traction so will try them on a hike soon...

I have used Springville meats lots over the years and have never had a problem and think it is one of the better places to take game. Most likely an honest mistake and the person just guessed that it must have spoiled to explain the missing portion.
