MY advice...turn it back. That has to be one of, if not the toughest unit in utah to hunt/find deer in period. Just my 2 cents, and I have have lived there for a long time. Good luck, if you do hunt it expect to see under 20 deer in 10 days, but there is always that "chance."

Moriah sucks for deer anymore. You are exactly right, it has seen better days. Too many tags. You might find a 160 buck, but that would be about it. Just my .02. I would try the Ruby's. More roadless and better chance of getting away from crowds, and better bucks, in my opinion. Good luck.
