Buying a ML tomorrow (see previous post) and will be using pellets and a 300 gr Hornady sabot. Should I use 2 (100 gr) or 3 (150 gr) pellets? I have heard that accuracy suffers with the max load, but that's not making alot of sense to me. This will be for a (hopefully big) bull elk hunt.

No luck in the draw for me...are there any leftover tag units that would be good for a non-resident group (wife & I and 2 teenage sons)? Would need to have good public access and we would not be able to scout ahead of time. Any input would be appreciated. Bill VW

Now that most of the big game draws are complete and the number of "unsuccessfuls" has piled up, I'm curious what Western state has the best opportunities for residents? I'm thinking, if I could retire and establish residency, where would be the best place considering only big game hunting...
