Hey Guys,
My two daughters and I were blessed with a bunch of good tags this year (when it rains it pours) and I'm not going to have the amount of time off (nor funds) to scout like I'd want to for my 12AE muzz tag (assumably drawn on the random). I'll have a few days before the hunt, but I would have liked to have made a trip down in the summer just to get a feel for the roads/area. I've been looking at my Flatline map and OnX and trying to sort things out a bit. From others, it sounds like the muzz hunt is a crap shoot as far as whether to hunt off the top or bottom, but I'm curious if I should also be thinking more north or south in the unit? I've heard Cocks Comb and the Loop? were decent areas, but wondering what others thought? Looks like lots of access off the top and some up from the bottom, but not much in between.
Also, Anyone ever hunt the Saddle Mountain Wilderness?
I'm guessing that there's good camp spots throughout?
Thanks,
Hammnit
