I'm already praying for snow but does someone have any other ideas? With it being so early this year I'm a little nervous, or at least not very hopefully. Just curious how others have faired in the past and any pointers they might have. Before I go looking around down there, I was wondering how conducive to pulling a trailer the area is.

If your going to hunt in the buckskins you should be ok with pulling a trailer. Good luck on the hunt!

That early be very prepared to take an immature buck. The big boys haven't really moved in by then. Just being honest. There will be a few smaller four points. We didn't put in for the early hunt due to the dates, friends daughter did draw the late tag. Best chance at a buck (immature) buckskins. Best chance at a mature buck somewhere out on the western side, but don't expect to see very many deer out there, more like 13A hunting. Maybe get a guide, that has time to find a local buck, if you are after something mature.
