A few pictures from 2011.........enjoy!
Well, 2011 was a long drawn out year to say the least. I participated in quite a few hunts with most having the same end result....Not many mature animals taken. We all know thats a big part of why some of us hunt but after looking back through all these pictures, I think of the many memories made with friends! P.S I love my gray Nike shirt (as you can see)
Some pre-season scouting is always fun and it helps get you and the fat four legged friends in shape.
Our first hunt on the list was a Utah general muzzy for deer. After putting in tons of summer scouting we weren't able to turn up any takers but the leaves were absolutely beautiful!
The second adventure we took, brought us to Idaho for another general hunt. This time with Rifles. After having a bruiser outsmart us more than once, I got trigger happy on a different one... and well you know the rest of the story. I'm fortunate to have great friends to hunt with and they are always willing to help a person out!
As always, I have a hard time saying no to an adventure. So when asked to packed a couple good friends in on a rifle elk hunt, I said sure why not. We didn't see a single elk but we had a heck of a time in the snow!
And.....last but not least our adventure to Colorado. Cody took a great buck. As for mine....trigger happy once more!
Sit tall in the saddle, hold your head up high, keep your eyes fixed to where the trail meets the sky...
