finally drew a late 4th.season deer tag. Been out scouting around Mill creek road and east of Pagosa. Anybody else from New Mexico hunted this season before. any suggestions
 
I have hunted that area since I was a kid but its always the private land only hunt. I dont know anything about public ground in there. Contact Utehunter, that is his stomping grounds.

Hunt Hard. Shoot Straight. Kill Clean. Apologize to No One.
 
i hunted elk n 78 east of chromo and was n deer everyday, lots of shooters! its wilderness back n there but still pretty easy walking!
