If you could have a Archery tag in either unit which one would you Pick and why? Also how much of a drop of is there in Quality between these units and say 10,8 or 1 ?

either one, I would lean towards 6a just because it is a bigger unit and would allow you to hunt different lifezones like upper desert to tall pines depending on what was goin on with the rut.
difference in 1,8 and 10 i think is pretty big with 10 being the best outta the three in my opinion. 8 is awesome and so is 1. I live in unit 1 and see alot of elk every day just about. But having spent so much time in 10 and 8 I would go with 10 8 1 in that order. but that is just me.

I wouldn't say there is any drop in quality. To do so you are only fooling yourself. Both of those units have bulls that equal 10, 8, and 1. Yes there may be fewer of them, but they are there.

6A and 7W are both very good units. They can and do produce top notch bulls every year.

You can keep the "change"!"

that was what I meant I guess. The number of the larger bulls is larger in those units, dont get me wrong 6a is a great unit and has big bulls for sure, 7w also. The only down side with 10 is you really have to size up the bull you're gonna shoot, alot of busted horns in there.
So with the qauntity of large bulls in 10 and 8 is why I lean towards them.
