76 Archery Elk suggestions

I'm looking for any advice on areas to hunt in 76. I live only an hour away, just haven't hunted those mountains yet. Any suggestions? I will be backpacking area by foot, have atv access. Thanks.

If you look at rocketmans posts , you will see that unit 76 elk are gay.
Try unit 75. Just kidding,wish i could help.

Anywhere in the west side of the unit is good. Alot of wilderness but there are still alot of elk close to the roads.

I have been around the west end of the area and there is alot of elk in big groups. I think that spot and stalk would be your best bet in the beginning of the season. Then maybe some calling and lots of walking and glassing.
