9 Deer points , any advice

LAST EDITED ON Apr-19-09 AT 11:27PM (MST)[p] Looking for some advice on where to spend 9 deer points . Looking at the draw odds it looks like I should have a good shot at 12a muzzle loader or 12 b first season . Any body hunted either of those units last year that could tell me how the hunting was .
I'm a non resident with a lot of vacation time to burn , so I could hunt hard . I do want to make the most of my points , and not just waste them on a poor hunt .

I had the 12b early hunt last year. It was certinly not a tag I would burn 9 points for. Weather was warm until later in the week. Most of the deer seen were forks and does. I was not able to find a decent buck and did not fill my tag. I didnt want to waste the tag on a fork so I came home empty. I would wait for a later season (unit 12 or 13) if I were you.
