Another experimental...

...meal last night -- a casserole of sorts. Instead of making hot links in either of the two ways we normally do with kraut or BBQ sauce, we sliced it thin & then layered with scalloped taters & baked it in the oven. It was different & tasted pretty good. Added some fresh green beans & homemade bread.

If I do it agian, I will add some green chiles & maybe some onions.

Yep, we love our various sausage and potato casseroles. So yummy and filling, and great on those cold winter nights too!!

But it was likely over 100 here when we were eating last night.
