First off, Just spent 8 fantastic days in southern Utah!
A very enjoyable camp we will return to next week ..
Had rain every single day, All spot and stalk hunting, water EVERY were.
Took hunting water holes completely out of the picture ..
My boy is dead set on one of the bigger bucks at least for the first half
of the hunt. We had several run ins with this guy, including a shot that
clipped a pine tree limb and fell short .....
Out of the 80+ bucks we are watching, there's only 4 of this caliber ...
Hes holding out for one of these until Labor day ...
We had to return home last night for a few days to catch up school / work ..
And take care of this beautiful buck my wife harvested Thursday ...
Afternoon thunder storms have led to unbelievable sun sets,
This was how it looked night before last ...
Now my wife can concentrate on her deer tag, and I can help my boy on
a pope and younger...
Cant wait to get back to camp in a few days!
