Yes that is a great looking buck. The amount of great bucks are pretty high, The lucky tagholder will have to pick his buck, finding the one that just trips his trigger. I don't think score will matter because they all will be Big.
"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".
Funny story on those pics. My buddy and I were filming these bucks when Russ drove by us and noticed where we were looking. He stopped and he and his buddy started photographing them as well. He took over 500 pics that evening in perfect lighting.
Heres my question about antelope island. Does anybody know roughly how many of the deer on the island are bucks and just how many of those bucks are trophy class bucks. I went on that shed hunt on the west half this spring all I can say is what a wierd place to try and hunt a deer I couldnt imagine trying to kill one with a bow it would be tough and steep.
LAST EDITED ON Jun-11-11 AT 08:19AM (MST)[p]This year deer count was the highest they've had at around 400. The buck to doe ratio is 30/100. The question is what do you consider trophy? My personal opinion, which is worth very little in todays market, is that there are 10-20 bucks in the 200-220 range, and about a dozen bucks over 220. Probably only 3-4 over 230.
