I want to purchase a region J deer tag without losing my bonus points. With having max points I do not want to run the risk of applying for a low percentage unit and region J as a 2nd choice (to save my BPs) because I might draw the better tag and be separated from my group.

Can I buy a region J leftover tag AND a bonus point after the initial draw?

Yep, Region J is a gimme tag, so buy it and your PP online in July! That way there is no risk at all!!!
