Archery deer

Hi I have a couple questions. I am curious about the late wasatch archery deer hunt.

1. Is it an otc hunt or is it a draw?
2. If a draw, can you draw it every year?
3. When is the hunt usually? (dates?)
4. How much $ for a non res?

they are cutting utah next year into 30 units. You will have to draw one of those units, but after the archery season is over, you will be able to hunt the extended. Its all on the ut dwr website. Wildlife.utah.gov

the hunt will run something lke sept 16-dec 15 or thereabouts.

I don't know what the non res fee is. but you can find out everything on that website.

Thanks for the info guys. One other question, is that an area a guy can backpack hunt and possibly get away from other people?

There are some places you can backpack into but, getting alone could be an issue.

dont hunt bountiful, centerville, parleys, lambs canyon or farmington or city creek. then youwill avoid 95% of front hunters. get on google earth and find a place 2 miles from any road and go there.

Can any tag holder hunt the extended?

Is the extended on all general deer units?

The mountains, not the hills.

No there are specific areas for extended archery. You have to have an archery tag to hunt extended.
