Area 261-268 deer

Picked up this tag fcfs because ill be there for a sheep hunt from the 13th till the 24th. Primary hunt is the sil sheep tag.

What should i expect for deer activity ? Will this be like an early season hunt up north say in big 6 or more like the late tag in 6?

We have some deer on cams from this summer so I know there's some around. Not sure what to expect quality wise or for deer movement , pre rut, or rut.

Not asking at all where to start just what deer will be thinking about around those times.

I truly just got the tag because I knew we had deer on camera and it would give me a way to break up the sheep scouting before the hunt. Any help is appreciated.
I have zero clue what type of hunt to expect or quality in the area. I didn't draw this year but have had one of the best years so far hunting wise. I won an antelope land owner tag for 075 in a raffle and got a fcfs cow tag for 121 104 108 now this one. I even had a desert ram tag in my cart at one point but let it go back because of the area and didn't want to use my points on that unit.

It was early this fall like in September might have been a 045 tag. I don't really remember what unit other then I talked myself out of buying it .


Just looked it up in my text messages it was 045/153 saw it on Sept 14

I couldn’t have I would have had to have bought it. Do you recall what time of the day it popped up ? Seems like 1-3 in the morning they pop up

Wrangler-give me shout if ya need some help man. Had a bow tag here this year and my 3 kids and I have hunted this area for a long time. We are just 20-30 minutes from where we usually hunt. One of our daughters turned in her tag for this area Tues or Wed as she's to busy teaching and coaching to put any effort into the hunt. Chances are, you got that tag. My number is 702-824-4140.
