37B can be tough these days..... I hope you have a honey hole scouted-out ;-)

I was out there quail hunting a couple of weeks ago. Tough year for birds. Saw coveys in all the right places, but they seemed smaller in numbers than an average year. I was pleasently surprised to see a few deer in my travels though. All the deer I saw were within 1/2 mile of water.

Well I did come across 3 nice bucks back in september, they were within a 1/2 mile of a big water hole, but I think every hunter will also be in the same area!

I hope My strategy works, I plan to get to a high spot well before sun-up, set-up the tripod and settle in for some long range glassin!!
