G AND F pulled another bonehead move, 2014 archery deer tags don't get delivered till sometime tomorrow ( jan 1)and they are temporary tags. So if your heading to a store tnite to get one to go hunt tomorrow you may be out of luck, try to get to a regional office before 5. The line on carefree is an hour wait. They screwed guys who had tomorrow off to go hunt all day. One step forward two steps back.

I went and got my deer tag last week, and I asked why they didnt distribute this year. The lady mentioned because of all the changes, they thought it would get too confusing for other places.

Sadly they didn't bother to send out an email giving guys a heads up, lots of pissed off ppl in Prescott, I took tomorrow off of work to go , glad I had time to get to phx before they closed.

No, the stores kept telling us they would be in on the 31st and we had to wait. I called from camp multiple times over the last week because I didn't believe them. Today cal ranch was told they were getting temporary licenses sent. They are paper. I've always had my tag a week in advance because I spike camp for 10 days with my long time friend and we over lap if we dont kill. So don't call me a procrastinator. This was G AND F mess up

Sorry to hear you're having troubles but over the years they have been outstanding in my dealings with them. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with AZGF today and again, top notch.

I agree those poor gals were kickin tags out of the printer as fast as they could and dealing with grumpy guys all afternoon and doing it with a smile. Just a pain to hike out then drive 3 hours to wait 45 min then drive back. Just needed to vent.
