If anyone has any doubts about AZSFW and HB2072 and its intent, you need look no further than the comparison that you can view at Commissioner Freeman's site under the downloads section it is a big eye opener and if you had any inkling of their proposal being in the best interest of Arizona resources, residents and sportsman, you are sadly misinformed. Please take the time to read this and register with his site to receive any information as it becomes available.There was a very good turnout at the meeting Mar 22nd and we need to keep that momentum rolling as the values and principles we hold so dear are being threatened by the AZSFW and their agenda.
The Utah SFW was a bad proposal from the onset and the AZSFW is 10 times worse. It is quite evident that the money that could be generated by their proposal has no intent of being used for anything but the lining of those pockets that they feel need to be filled before any left overs would be considered for any causes that the general public or our resources might benefit from.
Stand united folks this one is going to be a long battle as the people that are trying to get their hands on this large amount of money are not going to give up easily.

For me the Economic Impact study is the most important. It clearly lets us know that AZSFW was hard at work on HB 2072 long before the filing of the bill on January 6th.
The brochure that accompanies the study was not created overnight. It was a proffessionally produced brochure. It was presented to the Commission at the Commission meetimg regarding the MOU with AZSFWC.
The study itself was finalized in November 2011. I don't think Dr. Hogan did it over a weekend. His economic impact analysis indicates that it will be 28.95 million stae wide with 24.6 in Maricopa County.
I wonder how much was paid for the study?

Why waste it on kid's soccer fields and playgrounds when it can be auctioned off to land developers? Should do a study to show how many millions of dollars this would infuse into the economy.
