I got really lucky in this year's Utah big game draw and drew one of the moose tags on this unit. I was woundering if anybody here has been on or has hunted this unit for moose? Just trying to get as much information as I can to learn what areas I need to focus on. Thanks for any info you may give. PM's welcome

Hunted deer on this ranch last year. Saw a lot of moose. No big bulls but plenty to pick from. The ranch is easy to hunt. Narrow and long with a road going right through the middle. Plenty of good spots to glass from. An older gentleman is the ranch manager. He seems like a good guy and genuinely wants to see you take an animal. Ranch starts at the bottom of the mountain and goes up from there. Starts as sage and grass, then scrub oak to aspen and pine. My only issue was the amount of traffic and other hunters on what is really a small ranch. Between deer, bull, cow, and moose hunters and the ranch manager you will have plenty of company.
