LAST EDITED ON Jan-16-04 AT 10:32PM (MST)[p]Just thought I'd share a pic of a B&C bull we got pretty close to while elk hunting this year. SW Montana. This guy and the other two smaller ones were all clicking there horns together in a big triangle when we snuck in on them!

Heres them all together.

I forgot to mention...look at the length of the bell on that big SOB. I've never seen a bell that long.

Looks like a definite B&C shiras to me. Over 10 pts on each side, at least 10" wide paddles, pretty decent spread, and double/triple brows. Booner sized bell as well! Great photos! Thanks for sharing them with us!

Don't know squat about moose but he looks like a dandy to me. And that bell! He's definitely swingin' more than the average bull. :)

A guy once told me the bells get shorter as they get older? I seriously doubt that with this bull.

awesome moose, it must've been fun watching them wrestle

i saw it suggested somewhere that the bells might sometimes get frozen and lost, might explain what you saw about them getting shorter in older bulls

he does have one heck of a bell
